This tea comes from Kyoto’s mountainous region, where a multi-generational family farm cultivates leaves with care, tradition, and sustainability. Grown without pesticides and in the process of obtaining organic certification, they produce a range of teas that reflect both the region’s fertile soils and the skill of those who tend the fields.

Storage:
Once opened, matcha is best enjoyed within 3 months but can stay fresh for up to a year with proper storage. Store it in an airtight container to prevent oxidation. Keep it in a cool, dark place, such as a pantry or fridge, away from direct light and heat. Avoid exposure to moisture, as it can cause clumping and affect the powder’s texture and quality.

To make a Matcha Tea, whisk 2g of this tea in 70ml of 80° water for 45 seconds. If preparing a matcha latte, use 40ml of water to dissolve the powder before adding your desired portion of warmed milk.
