An essential matcha-making tool, also known as a chasen, carved out of a single piece of bamboo. The fine strands of this 80-tine chasen ease the powder into warm water for the ideal tea texture.

Once you’ve added warm water over the matcha powder, move the whisk through the mixture until foam appears on the surface. Rinse the whisk with water after use and dry with a cloth to ensure all matcha is removed. We recommend keeping the whisk on a stand so it maintains its optimal shape.

Care: Before first use, let it sit in hot water for a few minutes. Dip it in water before every use. To clean, rinse it carefully under running water.
